Job description

We are now looking for a student that wants to write their Bachelor thesis at Inter IKEA Group from January 2022.

Right now, there are many ongoing projects within the Compensation & benefits area in Inter IKEA Group!

To support us in making the IKEA offer as attractive as possible, we want to have external inputs bringing us new insights.

At Inter IKEA Group we aim to offer Compensation and Benefits packages that ensure we attract, motivate, and retain co-workers and enable a desired competence flow.

Our benefits are adapted to where our co-workers live and work. Cultural customs and economic conditions vary greatly from place to place, just as social security, taxes and employment laws differs. That’s why our benefits look different across the globe.

However, our benefits are based on the same principles; for the many people, keeping it simple and being cost-conscious. While adapted to local differences, no matter where co-workers live and work, one of the most important principles remains the same: benefits should always be competitive and meaningful within each market.

The Scope: We want you to evaluate and explore the IKEA benefit offer by looking into current trends, research and facts as well as looking how do other companies attract and retain co-workers through their benefits packages.
We want you to support us in creating a better understanding on how benefits can contribute to our business success. And based on that insight, come with a proposal on how to create an attractive benefit offer worldwide for Inter IKEA Group.

At IKEA we always put people first and that is why you should have a strong interest in co-operating and engaging stakeholders in and outside of IKEA.
You have analytical skills and the ability to challenge our current way of working.
Preferably you are studying Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
You have good communication skill, and you are fluent in English.
