What will be your role

Ensure the profitability of IKSO projects, maximize investment and correct information for decision making. Additionally, manage and control the overall project areas to ensure the correct set up of the country.

What you will be doing

  • Development store forecast, market analysis and expansion pre-conditions for new markets and customer meeting points in close cooperation with the business.
  • With the customer at the heart of everything we do, Expansion takes contribution for strategic expansion planning enabling penetration of existing and new markets.
  • Analysis and reporting to be used for strategic and financial decision making.
  • Follow-up of the monitoring of compliance with the opening and operation milestones at the local level.
  •    Market potential evaluation and running.                                                
  •   Secure a close co-operation with IKSO areas to secure communication in the expansion plans and business needs.                                                                          
  • Create Business Plan to understand the overall project and maximize investment.
  • Close contribution with finance in the annual budgeting process.
  • Ability to deal with different stakeholders, in continuous cooperation with the team.
  • Lead and work closely together with colleagues across the totality of IKSO and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant brand.

What do you need for apply

  • University degree in related to the position.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Desirable experience in finance.
  • Desirable experience in development of projects.
  • Experience in market development strategies – preferably for retail operation business.
  • Knowledge of how to plan (strategic, tactical, operational and finance) in an efficient and cost-conscious way.
  • Excellent understanding of processes on the area of expertise
  • Knowledge of project management and co-ordination skills.
