Imagine a customer journey where IKEA can offer any tailor-made service for each customer, no matter the complexity of the need or size of the wallet. We have started this journey but still have a bit to go. We are currently offering many services, like home delivery, click & collect, assembly, installation and more. This job is about making them better and thinking of other services that our customers might need. Now, we want to go all the way within the Stockholm region and become a role model for the entire Swedish market! The entire IKEA world has a huge interest in this journey - that YOU will be in the driver seat. So, are you up for the challenge - taking IKEA to the next level, through services? Do you feel, like we do, that you can’t wait to start this mission? If so – don’t hesitate, just click the apply button and let’s do it together!
Still not convinced? That is ok of course. We believe in diversity and that everybody has individual needs - just like our services. So, if you need more information to proceed, then please take some extra minutes and read this ad through. Besides the business development attitude described above there are a few items you need in your travel pack to really enjoy this journey. Let’s go through the items and why you need them:
Customer focus – Perhaps the customers want narrower and better precision in home delivery time slots, or more availability for when we can collect products or a bigger variety of choices for pick-up and return points. Either way, you can listen, consider, create business case, then engage colleagues to test and try. All in the name of the customer.
Data driven mindset – ability to see trends and opportunities in numbers, but also to internally inspire to create actions and movement. We at IKEA also use them to encourage each other and celebrate when our goals are reached.
Competitive – You constantly want to push boundaries. Having and sharing a “we can do this” attitude is something that is crucial for this role. However not at any cost, our value, cost-consciousness, is also an area where you can exercise your competitiveness.
Leadership – well, you can’t do this on your own. You will be surrounded by passionate people eager to put Stockholm on the global IKEA map. You will need to inspire, collaborate and transform existing IKEA colleagues to ambassadors, stakeholders and project managers for our service offer.
If you lack one or two, don’t worry - you will get plenty of support to develop, making you even more competitive for your next role, hopefully still within IKEA.
Speaking of support… we obviously want you to succeed in this important role. Your manager Dzhemal Khaburzaniya, he sends his regards and that you simply can call him “Jem”. He is ready to hand over what he has built up so far and will be your co-pilot for as much and long as you need. He also has a mentor ready to help you navigate. But most importantly you have a “test & try license” waiting for you on your desk in Stockholm. What do you say? Ready to take this next step with us?
