Who you are

Then we want you to come and join our journey! To thrive in this position, we see that you have:
• Strong knowledge of strategic procurement practices and related processes conditions and/or good knowledge of cost drivers and the value chain within the construction and fit-out business.
• Knowledge of standard conditions of the construction industry AB regulations such as AB04/AB18 and ABT06/ABT18.
• English speaking and writing skills. Using other Nordic languages is an advantage.
• Experience in supplier management and supplier development.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Experience from working within a global organization.
• Experience with SAP procurement tools such as ARIBA/S4Hana is a great advantage.

What you'll be doing day to day

We offer you an exciting and developing position as a purchaser within Group Procurement, Ingka. With our sourcing and tendering process, you will be allowed to improve and develop construction areas and bring innovation through partnering with suppliers, to meet Ingka development needs in a cost-efficient way with sustainability built in from the start.

You will:

• Be responsible for the construction and fit-out procurement activities in Denmark and other Nordic countries
• Work with various forms of installation projects
• Be responsible for:
? Support project preparation from a commercial perspective
? Supplier selection and pre-qualification
? Tendering and negotiating construction and fit-out services, materials, and equipment
? Contracting and follow-up
• Through proactive market monitoring gives input about sourcing options, market trends, supplier market, and contributing to the development of the plans and achieving the goals within the Category Construction and Fit Out, Category Area Real Estate
• Take full responsibility for following and securing a compliant purchase process for the Ingka Procurement organization
• Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers based on the shared business model
• Build trusted relationships through IKEA's way of doing business, and secure compliance with IWAY and Code of Conduct

OTHER INFORMATION

• The position is on average 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary.
• Salary within IKEA’s salary policy based on your competencies and including pension.
• The position is located in IKEA Taastrup, but the manager is in Malmö, and travel days can occur.
